Jump & Capture (“the App”) is published by Maverick Codebase. This policy describes what the App handles on iPhone and Android. It is not directed at children under 13.
On your device
The App stores the following on your device:
- Display name
- Character
- Progress
- Settings
- Whether Remove Ads is active
Deleting the App removes this on-device data.
Firebase account
Online features sign you in with Firebase anonymous authentication. The App does not ask for an email address or a password.
A Firestore profile stores:
- Display name
- Character
- Game player id
- Game Center alias on iOS, or Play Games alias on Android
- Lifetime XP
- Weekly XP
Online matches
While a match is in progress, the App stores online match state. Quick chat from that match is not kept after the match ends.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard shows your display name, character, and lifetime XP.
Same Wi-Fi
For a match on the same Wi-Fi, your name and character are advertised only on the local network.
Clipboard
The App uses the clipboard so you can copy and paste friend codes. Clipboard contents are not stored.
Game Center and Play Games
On iOS the App uses Apple Game Center. On Android it uses Google Play Games. Those services are run by Apple and Google.
Ads
The App shows ads with Google AdMob. On iOS, App Tracking Transparency lets you allow or decline tracking. If you decline, the App still shows non-personalized ads.
Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple on iOS and by Google on Android. Maverick Codebase only learns whether Remove Ads is active. We do not receive your payment card details.
Analytics
Firebase Analytics records screens and gameplay events, along with:
- Platform
- App version
- Whether ads are removed
- Player level
Analytics does not include your name, friend code, or email address.
Crash reports
Firebase Crashlytics is tied to the anonymous Firebase id. It is not tied to your display name.
Notifications
The App can schedule local play reminders only if you turn notifications on.
Children
Jump & Capture is not directed at children under 13.
Deleting your server profile
Deleting the App removes data stored on that device. It does not by itself delete the Firestore profile.
To ask us to delete the server profile, email maverickcodebase@gmail.com with the subject “Jump & Capture data deletion request”. Include your display name and whether you play on iPhone or Android.
